I thought of calling this painting "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat", but that name was already taken. When you see the patchwork of all the different colors, patterns, and textures, it reminds you of that musical namesake.

 This painting was created using my "sandwich technique" as seen on my teaching video, New Approaches to Mixed Media Materials. I've been using that technique for a year and a half, and it still amazes me how easy it is to create vibrant, interesting abstract pieces with "sandwiches."
